Tesla Model S - Week 10

To continue on the topic of Tesla's, lets compare the three Model S options, the P90D, 90D, and 70D. What these three options have in common is that they are all EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) approved and come with autopilot. The P90D and 90D both have a top speed of 155mph, but the 70D is a bit slower, which is 140mph. 

The P90D option is more of a performance car. It is AWD (all wheel drive),  goes from 0 - 60 in 2.8 seconds, and a torque ration of 713 lbs/ft. This car also has 463 hp and can be driven at a range of 253 miles on a 85kWh (kilowatt hour) battery.


The 90D option is one of their standard cars. It is 
AWD, goes from 0 - 60 in 4.2 seconds, and a torque ration of 485 lbs/ft. This car also has 417hp and can be driven at a range of 270 miles on a 85kWh battery.


The 70D option is one of their other standard cars. It either comes in AWD or RWD (rear wheel drive). The AWD Model S 70D  goes from 0 - 6 in 5.2 seconds, and a torque ration of 387 lbs/ft. This car also has 328 hp and can be driven at a range of 240 miles on a 85kWh (kilowatt hour) battery. The RWD Model S 70D  goes from 0 - 6 in 5.5 seconds, and a torque ration of 325 lbs/ft. This car also has 315 hp and can be driven at a range of 230 miles on a 85kWh battery.

  1. Teslas are definitely impressive. The features they offer, such as autopilot are very cool. It's great that they run on battery and are environmentally friendly. I would like to own one myself.
