Ferrari vs. Lamborghini - Week 13

Ferrari's and Lamborghini's are both performance, power, and popularity cars. They are both Italian companies and produce popular luxury sports cars. They are also both VERY expensive companies that make expansive cars and accessories (clothing, clothing accessories, car parts, etc.).

Even though these cars have many similarities, they have a lot more differences. Ferrari was founded in 1929 by Enzo Ferrari and it's parent organization is Fiat S.p.A.  This beautiful car has a few different body styles; 2-door, 2+2 coupe cabriolet, 2 seat Berlinetta, 2 seat spider, or 3-door shooting-break. It comes with either a front mid-engine with rear-wheel drive, or rear mid-engine with rear-wheel drive, FMR layout (front mid-engine with rear wheel drive) or FM4 layout (front mid-engine with four wheel drive), has a seven speed dual clutch automated manual, and has between 460 - 963 hp

The Lamborghini on the other hand was founded in October 30, 1963 by Ferruccio Lamborghini and it's parent organizations are Audi AG and Volkswagen Group. This car has 3 body styles; 2 door coupe, 2 door roadster, 2-door spyder. It comes with either a mid-engine four wheel drive or a mid-engine rear wheel drive, seven speed ISR (independent shifting rods) semi-automatic transmission or five speed manual, and has between 550 - 700 hp.

So here's how Lamborghini started...Ferrucio Lamborghini fixed a Ferrari he bought with a clutch from his tractor company. He then went to tell Enzo Ferrari, but Mr. Ferrari took it as an insult and told off Ferrucio. So he went on to making the beautiful Lamborghini many of us love today.
