1989 RHD Toyota Supra - Week 1

The imported 1989 right hand drive (rhd) Toyota Supra is a five-passenger coupe, with a sporty and modern interior for its time. This car is a Japanese beauty; right hand drive, 5 speed manual transmission, twin turbo, rear wheel drive, a 1JZ engine, and goes from 0 - 60 in seven seconds. When you swap the engine with a 2JZ engine (this engine is from the forth generation Supra. The "2" stands for the iteration of the block and the "JZ" stands for the engine's family), she's a beast on the street. With the 25 year law, it is a little harder to import a car into the United States; in order to bring a car here, it has to be at least 25 years old.

Compared to the more modern Supra, the classic Supra's body style represents the timeless shape of the late 80's sports car. With it's pop up headlights and it's sharp lines and edges, it is the epitome of cars from this time era. It's hard to find a modern car which holds its value and turns heads for the years to come, like the Toyota Supra. It is one spectacular car!
